cgroup-lite software package provides Light-weight package to set up cgroups at system boot, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cgroup-lite
cgroup-lite is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cgroup-lite package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cgroup-lite *
You will get with cgroup-lite package name, version, architecture and description in a table
